The East Irondequoit Central School District is accepting applications for School Bus Attendant positions. 

These positions are approximately 25 - 30 hours per week and follow the student calendar. Approximate hours:  6:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

 

 

$17.00 / Hour Minimum Starting
School Bus Drivers 2026/27School Bus Drivers 2026/27

The East Irondequoit Central School District is accepting applications for new Bus Drivers. Training is available.  At completion of training, candidates will be eligible for CDL Class B License with P (Passenger) & S (School Bus) endorsements.

**$1,000.00 signing bonus for completion of 12 months of service**

Automotive/Diesel Mechanic 2026/27Automotive/Diesel Mechanic 2026/27

There is an opening opening for an Automotive Mechanic in the Transportation Department of East Irondequoit Central School District.  This is a 12-month, 8-hour per day position working 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with a 1/2 hour unpaid lunch.

Responsibilities are but not limited to the following:

  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform scheduled inspections, oil changes, fluid checks, and filter replacements.
  • Diagnostics: Use computer software and diagnostic tools to isolate engine, electrical, and mechanical failures.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all brake systems, emergency exits, and suspension components meet DOT regulations.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date work orders and repair logs.
$19.65 / Hour Minimum Starting
