The East Irondequoit Central School District is seeking a reliable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented individual to serve as a Part-Time Evening Courier. This position is responsible for the secure and timely delivery of confidential district documents to homes and other designated locations throughout the community.  Work hours will have a flexible start time between 3:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.; approximately 1–3 hours per day, depending on delivery needs.

Job Responsibilities:         

  •  Pick up and deliver outgoing USPS mail to the local post office.                 
  •  Hand-deliver confidential district documents, including but not limited to:
    • Student suspension notices
    • Superintendent's hearing notifications
    • Special Education notices and communications
    • Residency-related letters
    • Occasional employee correspondence
  • Obtain and document recipient signatures as proof of delivery.
  • Deliver Board of Education meeting materials and related documents as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all student, employee, and district information.
  • Keep accurate records of deliveries and signed receipts.
  • Perform deliveries in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
$18.00 / Hour
Teacher Assistants 2026/27Teacher Assistants 2026/27

There are openings for (7) seven Teaching Assistance in the East Irondequoit Central School District.  Teaching Assistants proivide instructional services under the general supervision of a licensed or certified teacher.

Duties are but not limited to the following:

  • working with individual pupils or groups of pupils on special instructional projects;
  • providing the teacher with information about pupils that will assist the teacher in the development of appropriate learning experiences;
  • presenting segments of lesson plans, as directed by the teacher;
  • communicating with parents of students at a school site or as otherwise directed by a teacher
  • assisting pupils in the use of available instructional resources, and assisting in the development of instructional materials;
  •  utilizing their own special skills and abilities by assisting in instructional programs
  • assisting in related instructional work as required

 

$20.00 / Hour Minimum Starting
B&G - Laborer 2026/27B&G - Laborer 2026/27

There are immediate openings for Laborer in the Buildings and Grounds Department.  This position is 12-months, working 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities are but not limited to the following:

  • Assists with installation, maintenance, repair, and cleaning 
  • Assists in construction, patching of sidewalks & parking lots 
  • Snow removal 
  • Landscaping 
  • Performs general building cleaning & repairs 
$17.00 / Hour Minimum Starting
