The approximate hours are 10:15 AM – 1:15 PM. The hours may vary by school location. These are 10 - month positions and follow the student calendar. Salary:  $11.10 per hour.

We are also accepting applications for substitute cafeteria monitors.

Food Service Helpers 2019-20Food Service Helpers 2019-20

There are positions available for Food Service Helpers in the East Irondequoit Central School District.  These positions follow the student calendar.  Applicants selected for an interview will be notified by telephone.  Salary:  $11.10 per hour.

FOOD SERVICE HELPER -  TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES

  • Prepare/transfer foods and other items.
  • Set up prep area/serving line/cash register for menu items and ease of service; stock shelves/freezers/coolers/service areas.
  • Serve/prepare foods properly or operate cash register efficiently and courteously.
  • Maintain clean and orderly work station; count/store/return leftover foods.
  • Assist with cleanup of equipment, dishes, pots/pans and work areas.
  • Complete paperwork, recordkeeping or inventory tasks as required.
  • Assist food service director and other staff as requested.

 

$11.10 per hour
Teacher Aide (All Grade Levels) 2019-20Teacher Aides 2019-20

 

The East Irondequoit Central School District is accepting applications for Teacher Aide positions throughout the 2019-20 school year. These are 10-month positions and follow the student calendar. Salary:  $11.10 per hour ($11.80 per hour effective January 1, 2020).

Cleaner/Custodian Positions B and C shift 2019-20Cleaners 2019-20

The East Irondequoit Central School District has  openings for "B" and "C" Shift Cleaners. These are 12 month, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week positions. The location of these positions is to be determined. The "B" Shift hours are 1:30pm to 10:00pm or 3:00pm to 10:30pm.  The "C" Shift hours 10:30pm to 7:00am (these hours may be adjusted depending on the location of the position).  Minimum Salary:  $11.10 per hour (increase to $11.80 per hour effective 1/1/2020) + $.65 per hour differential for "B" Shift or $.90 per hour diffenential for "C" Shift".

The East Irondequoit Central School District is accepting applications for contract substitute teachers, locations listed below. Building contract substitutes will follow the teacher calendar beginning 9/16/2019 through the end of the school year.  Daily Rate:  $102.00 per day.

Substitute Teacher 2019-2020Sub teach 2019-20

The East Irondequoit Central School District is accepting applications for substitute teacher services. Per diem substitute teacher opportunities are available in all certifications/subject areas. New York State Certification is preferred. Pay rate - $92/day or $102/day after ten consecutive days in the same assignment.

Computer Support AssistantComputer Support Assistant

This is a competitive Civil Service position.  This is a 12 month, 8 hour per day position and the work hours are Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM.

TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES:  (All need not be performed in a given position.  Other duties may be performed although not listed.)

Move and set up computer hardware through the school district;

Set up computer software on desktop units and local network;

Installs new and upgraded PC software packages;

Provides computer software support and training to end users;

Manages workflow though assignments from Help Desk;

Troubleshoots basic PC, laptop and individual device software problems;

Refers more difficult software, hardware and equipment problems to higher level staff.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Good knowledge of computer technology, individual computing devices, training of end users, good verbal communication skills and ability to meet the physical demands of the job.

Knowledgeable in software applications, computer hardware installation, troubleshooting software and hardware problems, general use of AV equipment.
