There is a July 1, 2024 opening for an Assistant School Business Official in the East Irondequoit Central School District.  This is a 12-month position and reports directly to the Deputy Superintendent.

Job responsibilities are but not limited to the following:

  1. Develop methods of analyzing and tracking the performance of business office functions and support services departments.
  2. Coordinate state aid reporting.
  3. Oversee matters related to special education finance.
  4. Assist the Deputy Superintendent in monitoring budget administration and develop systems to ensure accuracy of fund balance projections.
  5. Provide day to day monitoring of capital projects under the direction of the Deputy Superintendent.
  6. Supervise certain support service directors and business office staff members as delegated by the Deputy Superintendent.
  7. Prepare reports in areas of responsibility to assist the Deputy Superintendent and Central Office administrative team in decision making.
  8. Assist the Deputy Superintendent in developing recommendations for changes in district policy, practice, and program delivery.
  9. Assist the Deputy Superintendent in oversight of records management.
  10. Supervise the District Registrar.
  11. Serve as the district’s residency appeals officer.
  12. Serve as Deputy Treasurer.
  13. Coordinate borrowing and investment activity.
