There are immediate openings for Food Service Helpers, at multiple locations in the East Irondequoit Central School District.  These are 10-month positions and follow the student calendar. Salary:  $15.00 per hour. See below for position location and hours.

I.  East Irondequoit Middle School


9:00 AM – 1:30 PM (4.5 Hrs.)

II.  Eastridge High School

7:00 AM – 1:30 PM (6.5 Hrs.)


  1. Prepare/transfer foods and other items
  2. Set up prep area/serving line/cash register for menu items and ease of service; stock shelves/freezers/coolers/service areas
  3. Serve/prepare foods properly or operate cash register efficiently and courteously
  4. Maintain a clean and orderly workstation
  5. Count/store/return leftover foods
  6. Assist with cleanup of equipment, dishes, pots/pans, and work areas
  7. Complete paperwork, recordkeeping or inventory tasks as required
  8. Assist School Nutrition Director and other staff as needed
$15.00/hr (minimum)
