There is an immediate opening in the Information Technology Department for an IT Project Manager.  This position is 12-months, working Monday through Friday and responsible for ensuring the availability and reliability of devices, systems, and networks. Some technical work based on skill set.  Report to and work under the general supervision of the Executive Director of Technology.

Duties are but not limited to the following:

  • Coordinate and manage the Information Technology department’s daily IT operations.
  • Oversee Helpdesk and ticketing assignments.
  • Prioritize and monitor IT department projects, workloads, and deadlines.
  • Facilitate cross-training between IT technicians.
  • Escalate critical technology issues and work collaboratively on resolutions.
  • Assist in evaluating department staff and identifying areas for growth.
  • Assist in coordinating and scheduling work with outside IT vendors and BOCES including, but not limited to, network cabling, audiovisual systems, overhead paging/lockdown systems.
  • Ensure users' technology needs are met.
  • Manage and oversee IT hardware inventory including deliveries, storage, and surplus.
  • Manage and assign work as needed to IT interns and ensure they are fully supported and working productively on tasks assigned.
  • Oversee daily operations and support of student helpdesk at secondary schools to ensure continuity of the program in support of district goals.
  • Work on data security projects in conjunction with members of the IT Team and Executive Director of Technology as needed.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
$85,000 - $90,000 / Year
