There is a July 1, 2024, opening for an Occupational Therapist in the East Irondequoit Central School District at multiple locations.  The Occupational Therapist is responsible for developing and implementing a therapy program designed to meet student needs.  

Responsibilities are but not limited to the following:
1)Evaluate, plan program and provide occupational therapy services for students
2)Develop and implement IEP goals and objectives based on each student's needs, 504 accommodation plan, or SST goal.
3)Deliver on-going occupational therapy services in collaboration with parents, teachers, other school professionals, and appropriate community agencies/services.
4)Participate on school/building/program teams.
5)Actively participate in Committees on Special Education meetings.
6)Engage in thorough and timely reporting.
7)Implement appropriate service delivery models: individual, small group, integrated-cotaught classroom, special classroom MTSS, etc.
8)Establish and maintain a daily schedule.
9)Establish and maintain professional working relationships with school professionals, parents, students, and fellow colleagues within Educational Services.
10)Attend departmental and program assignment meetings.

$42,000.00 minimum starting salary
