Responsibilities are but not limited to the following:

  • Coordinates registration process with principals, clerical staff and information services;
  • Keeps accurate and up-to-date records for the district and student accounting for all enrolled students;
  • Provide enrollment and attendance verification letters to families per request;
  • New student registration for district including parochial, private, and Urban-Suburban;
  • Initiate residency investigation;
  • Prepares monthly, semi-annual, and year-end reports, evaluates registration and attendance functions,
  • procedures, documentation, and compliance of the district;
  • Process changes of address 
  • Train subordinates
  • Maintain foster care roster

Library Clerk 2025/26Library Clerk 2025/26

There is an opening for Library Clerk at East Irondequoit Middle School effective September 2025.


Responsibilities are but not limited to the following:

  • Arranges or files materials according to library filing rules;
  • Performs routine searches of and updates to computer records;
  • Issues borrowers' cards according to library procedures;
  • Performs routine circulation, reserve and overdue functions;
  • Makes and checks routine arithmetic computations;
  • Operates office machinery such as photocopiers, fax machines or computers;
  • Answers the telephone and takes messages;
  • Calls patrons to deliver messages or information on library materials;
  • Types cards, lists, labels, or short entries on forms;
  • Orders and processes new materials;

Teacher Assistants 2024/25Teacher Assistants 2024/25

There are openings for (7) seven Teaching Assistance in the East Irondequoit Central School District.  Teaching Assistants proivide instructional services under the general supervision of a licensed or certified teacher.

Duties are but not limited to the following:

  • working with individual pupils or groups of pupils on special instructional projects;
  • providing the teacher with information about pupils that will assist the teacher in the development of appropriate learning experiences;
  • presenting segments of lesson plans, as directed by the teacher;
  • communicating with parents of students at a school site or as otherwise directed by a teacher
  • assisting pupils in the use of available instructional resources, and assisting in the development of instructional materials;
  •  utilizing their own special skills and abilities by assisting in instructional programs
  • assisting in related instructional work as required

 

$17.00 / Hour
