There is an immediate opening for a delivery person in the School Nutrition Department of East Irondequoit Central School District.  This position is Monday - Friday, working 2 hours per day.  Salary: $15.00 per hour or current hourly rate for district School Nutrition Staff if higher.

Job Responsibilities:

• Loading & transporting food products on a daily basis or as needed to specified district buildings, all while adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Bringing product into school kitchens and their respective storage spaces
• Inventory freezers and report counts upon delivery, shortages, overages, and product damages to Cook Managers
• Keeping the district vehicle in good repair reporting required maintenance to Food Service Director
• On days when deliveries aren't required, this position will be expected to help in any school as needed for regular food service duties

There are openings for (7) seven Teaching Assistance in the East Irondequoit Central School District.  Teaching Assistants proivide instructional services under the general supervision of a licensed or certified teacher.

Duties are but not limited to the following:

• working with individual pupils or groups of pupils on special instructional projects;
• providing the teacher with information about pupils that will assist the teacher in the development of appropriate learning experiences;
• presenting segments of lesson plans, as directed by the teacher;
• communicating with parents of students at a school site or as otherwise directed by a teacher
• assisting pupils in the use of available instructional resources, and assisting in the development of instructional materials;
•  utilizing their own special skills and abilities by assisting in instructional programs
• assisting in related instructional work as required
