Job Description

There is an opening for a Varsity Softball Coach beginning spring season 2026/27 school year.

Job / Coaching Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective practice plans to improve players' volleyball skills and techniques. 
• Develop and execute game strategies to maximize the team's performance. 
• Identify and nurture the talents of individual players, promoting their growth and potential. 
• Foster a positive and supportive team culture that emphasizes hard work, discipline, and sportsmanship. 
• Identify and recruit talented student-athletes to strengthen the program. 
• Collaborate with youth and travel organizations to provide opportunities for student-athletes to improve 
• Ensure adherence to all MCPSAC, NYSPHSAA and East Irondequoit rules and regulations. 
• Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, alumni, and the community.

Job Qualifications

Job / Coaching Qualifications:

• Previous coaching experience required (high school or college preferred)
• New York State Coaching Certification (or eligible) 
• Valid CPR/AED certification (or eligible)
