Job Description

The East Irondequoit Central School District is seeking a Director of Health, Physical Education and Athletics.  This is a twelve-month administrative position reporting to the Assistant School Business Official.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide leadership in the development, implementation, coordination and integration of the district’s K-12 Health Curriculum, K-12 Physical Education and the Interscholastic Athletic programs.  Other duties may be assigned by the Assistant School Business Official.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Job Qualifications
  • School Administrator or SDA Certificate
  • NYS Permanent/Professional Certification as a PE teacher
  • Five years successful PE teaching experience  
  • 3-5 years Administrative Experience preferred
  • Experience in Coaching
  • Effective Communication Skills
  • Effective Interpersonal Relationship Skills
  • Alternative to the above which the District may find appropriate, acceptable and equivalent
